Tiffin access cover in closet

2006 Tiffin phaeton 40’qdh does the access cover in the closet come off? Took the 3 screws out Pryed it up but it doesn’t want to come off on the back side which backs up to a ledge does that ledge also need to be removed? Thanks.

I can't give you a positive answer on your coach, but the facia kickplate under my bath vanity extends out just over the engine cover and has to come out first before the engine cover will lift up. Sounds like yours may be similiar.

On our previous Phaeton there were 4 screws, same as our Bus. On both I had to remove either a small drawer or trim piece to access the back screws. If you only found 3 screws, most likely there’s one more hidden in the carpet. There should be a strap back there too.
