Tiffin Headlight Numbers
I have a 2015 37PA and after my last trip I found myself driving at night which is something I try to avoid. The stock low beam lights are basically made in Korea and throw no light even though they say 55 watts. They have the mounting prongs in a different area than a typical 9006. Any ideas on what number silver star would go in that hole. Thanks.

Tiffin usually uses headlights from different car or truck makers....best to call Tiffin and ask them what headlight they used in yours...

I have a 2015 36LA and had the same issue. I looked up the code stamped on the bottom of the light housing and its from a 2007-10 Chevy Silverado. The low beam is a H11 bulb. I have a set of Silverstar Ultras in the garage waiting for spring to install. Hope they improve the lighting...
More follows.

Thanks for the info. Went up to AutoZone yesterday and it appears to be a 9005 low beam.

You may want to double check that. I pulled my bulbs today while charging the batteries, and mine has an H11 bulb on the low beams and a 9005 for the high beams. Yours may be different, but I also looked up a 2010 Silverado and it is the same.
2010 Chevrolet Silverado Car Light Bulb Size Guide
Low Beam Headlight Bulb Size: H11
High Beam Headlight Bulb Size: 9005 or 9005 HID Upgrade Kit
Anything will be better than what came with it... I thought about lighting a candle and putting it on the dash to double the OE headlight brightness.

Seems like every MH we've had has had poor performance on the lights. On the Dutch Star I went with the Silver Stars whach was all the was available back then. With the present rig I bought LED's, haven't been out at night yet to see how they work though. Had to modify the covers on the back to allow room for the heat sinks and cooling fans

Thanks for all the responses. Turns out the low beam was an H-11 and H/B was 9005. I put in the SilverStar Ultra and made the mistake of turning on the lights and looked directly into the reflector. Saw spots for the next two hours. What a difference over the OEM bulbs.
Ordered the SS Ultra for the high beams as well.

I just replaced the stock candles with Silverstar Ultras this weekend too. Haven't tried them at night yet, but they seem quite a bit brighter.
I took a picture with the new one on the passenger side. I don't think the picture really does justice to the change.

If you don't mind me asking, what LEDs did you go with? Were they H11's?
I replaced some fog lights on my jeep with led replacement bulbs, and they made a pretty significant difference. But some of the reviews for headlights are mixed...

A2Tanker you were right, they were H11 and the highs were 9005. Big difference over the stock bulbs. Expensive though, but well worth it. I try not to drive at night but if I do I want to see.

I realize this is an older thread. I have a new to me 2013 Allegro with the Silverado headlamps. How hard is the removal process?

I had my headlights replaced when I had a 2018 32SA coach. I actually had an after hours guy do the swap out in Red Bay. It took him all of 3 minutes to pop in the new bulbs so it must have been a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. The brand and model are in the pics.
'Day and night' difference (pun intended!) in the brightness and light quality of the headlights.

I was told by a good friend who spent his working life in the electronics industry that halogen bulbs degrade over time. FWIW

You have to remember that the original headlamp assemblies were engineered for that particular vehicles height and width. When they are used on a MH they are probably at a different height and width vs the original vehicle.
