Tiffin has had problems with roof rails cracking (the curved edges of the roof where it bends down to meet the sidewall) and with wet bay floors rotting out.
Around 2007, Tiffin went to a one-piece fiberglass roof. Prior to that time, the flat part of the roof was fiberglass, and the curved edges were aluminum. On motorhomes where the cracking occurs, the fix is to cut off the radius and replace it with aluminum. You can tell if the fix was done on any particular motorhome you are looking at by the presence of an extra seam along the top edge of the radius.
After several production changes to try to prevent the cracking problem, Tiffin went to a tougher resin for the fiberglass around 2011-2012, which seems to have finally stopped the cracking.
The wet bay floors on Tiffin diesel pushers used to be painted plywood. Condensation from the holding tanks and/or minor leaks would accumulate on the floor unseen under the tanks and cause it to sag and eventually rot. You can tell if the motorhome you're looking at has been fixed because the floor will have a plastic covering.
There have also been reports of sidewalls cracking at the corners of a slide. This is not as common as the 2 problems mentioned above. If you're looking at a 2008 and there are not yet any cracks, I wouldn't worry about it.
