I had the same thing on my 2018 BW: Accent was listed on main LCD button panel but no wires or LEDs installed. I took the opposite approach and asked Spyder to flash me a software update to get rid of the button on the display.
Admittedly accent lights around the slide would look nice and not be as harsh/bright as the overheads. Good luck!
