I run the 177s (H rated) and have no smell. Agree with Ernieh: A regional tire is for city buses and city delivery trucks that may hit the curb frequently. Therefore they have a harder side wall and can take a lot of abuse. Long haul tires don’t have as stiff of a sidewalk therefore ride smother. Your choice but I’d stick with a long haul tire over a regional as May result in a smoother ride.
