TV out/cabinets in?
We want to remove our over dash TV and have someone in Red Bay install cabinets that match the rest of our 2017 Phaeton 40AH. My wife had read on a different site that our request can be done by Tiffin workers "after hours".
Has anyone else heard of this? How does it all work?

Had ours done by Truline RV in Spokane, WA as part of a total interior Reno.

While in Red Bay, we had ours done by Chris Berry.
We took out the TV and he built some beautiful cabinets. We also had him expand the dining table cabinet to make it wider for more storage, he did a wonderful job.

Nothing like a good cabinet builder...
Question, has anyone done soft close cabinet doors? The reason I ask is I get up late, but the better half is up early. So sometimes I get woken up by door opening,,,, then bam! shut. Worse mornings are when she can't find something..
Or putting thick each side felt dots on the door edge insides the best we can get?

Surprised you can sleep when your spouse is awake. You are in a small enclosed space and the smallest sound can be heard. My wife wears ear plugs to sleep longer than me. No need to redesign the entire coach.

Don't know about Tiffin Workers. but any compentent cabnet man can do it.

When we orderd our 2014 Phaeton we had that tv deleted and cabinets installed at the factory for no cost. We are hoping we can still do that on our next order.

I was very happy to see this post this morning as we are about to order a 34PA this weekend. I emailed the salesperson and he said that they could indeed swap the TV over the front to a cabinet for no charge. This makes me happy because I could never see the point of that TV in the first place.
