Upgrade from ADTH Rear view canera

I know that someone just asked about upgrading a triplevision to color,
but I have a somewhat different situation.
My 2004 Allegro Bay has the ADTH B&W camera and monitor which is
very cloudy. I would like to upgrade to color, but I would also like to add another camera on the side in the rear so that I can see the gas pump when I pull in to fuel. This may sound silly, but I can't seem to judge where I am
and I always have to exit the MH to see how close I am to the pump.
It would also help when leaving the fuel island.
Has any had to deal with this and how did you go with it?

How about a wireless camera inside, pointing out the bedroom window or something? Might not be crystal clear, but easy to install. Depends on your layout of course.

Not sure how handy you are or what you're inclined to do your rig, but we installed 3 cameras on an old Southwind that had none, by attaching the rear one (which was a double camera, for rear view and a view of the hitch on the toad) to the top of the rear cap and running the cable down a niche in the side, under the side and along the length of the chassis in an flexible aluminum conduit. Drilled a hole through the floor just under dash, where we attached a manifold, and then ran the cable up through the center portion of the dash to the monitor.
The third camera was attached to the underside of the passenger mirror (used for passing other vehicles, mostly) and the cable was run through the side to snake along under the dash to the manifold. 12 v power was picked up from a spare spot in the fuse block under the dash.

The job was a bit tedious but not difficult, and worked very well. The cameras and monitors are not expensive these days and the color plus infrared (some have sound pickup too) is really nice.

I had an old wireless license back up camera. I cut the ears off on the camera and mounted it on the rear side near a side light, and wired it into the light. When I pull in for fuel, I turn on the parking lights which powers the camera. It works fine. Eddie Elk.
