Using AGS and Inverter

When boondocking and setting up the AGS system to enable a start for A/C and or low voltage, does that override the "inverter on" setting or are they two separate things? Last night I used the AGS for the first time since purchasing the 2014 Allegro Red 33AA. When I got up this morning, I noticed the Refrigerator was at 57 degrees and the freezer was at 47 degrees. I immediately turned the inverter on and the Fridge when down to 36 degrees and the freezer to 10 degrees within 30 minutes or so. Did I inadvertantly turn off the inverter or does the AGS override it? Thanks

The AGS doesn't override the inverter setting, it only looks at low voltage or high temperature. It is sampling low Battery volts and starts at the voltage setting you select.

What condition were your coach batteries? If good, you must have turned off your inverter.

You may have quite hours set and it won't turn on during those hours.

I when dry camping It's a good idea to monitor your state of charge and figure out how much you need to run the generator. Many people find running it a few hours in the morning and then another couple of hours in the evening works out well.

Many thanks to all who advised. My main concern was the possible interaction between the Inverter and AGS. With that answered (thanks) I am most sure that I had turned off the inverter. My former coach (2003 HR) did not have an inverter only a converter, so I am having to get use to the inverter.

Question Further information

As previously stated, I am not familiar with the Shore Power/Generator/AGS/Inverter systems interaction. The AGS/Inverter has been clarified by your response, but now I want to understand the Shore Power/AGS operation. If I am on Shore Poser and have the A/Cs set at 85 and the AGS Temp set at 80, if the AGS senses the 80 degrees, will it start the generator regardless of the shore power or A/C temp setting? That's just in case I get (or the DW sets) those parameters.

Your inverter has a minimum voltage setting. It's possible that your AGS start voltage and the inverter minimum are about the same, or when your generator started it pulled the batteries below the inverter cutoff minimum causing it to shut down.
