Vinyl Floor Repair - DIY?

Our 2017 Wayfarer has a "Sofa Slide", which apparently got caught on something sliding-in and damaged the vinyl flooring. It's a pretty good size "dent" -- maybe two inches in diameter and almost an inch deep.

Anyone familiar with repairing Tiffin floors? My first choice would DIY, but willing to pay an experienced professional -- if one exists and/or can be recommended.

In the past I have given customers the Creative Colors website for vinyl repair (https://wecanfixthat.com/). They are a franchise so they may have a location near you. The feedback from those customers normally resulted in positive as far as quality repairs as well as cost.

Not sure if your floor is similar to mine. I had the same issue. I had several replacement vinyl pieces that came new with the rv. If you've got the extra vinyl that came with the rv ( If any) I merely pryed the old vinyl up. It came up fairly easy. Got some Home Depot glue for vynl floors . Placed it and then set some heavy weights on it overnight. It looks fine. If your floor came in vinyl "squares", and you don't have , the problem might be to find some that will fit.

I also had several vinyl tiles which were scratched/scuffed from the living room slide of our 2016 Allegro Open Road 36LA. Pried them up (it was hard work but not impossible), troweled on some vinyl floor adhesive I bought at Home Depot, and like Galvanized, installed new vinyl tiles that had come with the rig. Weighed them down overnight and I’m good as new. It’s a pretty simple repair job, if you have the tiles.

Wow, the exact same thing happened on my breeze. Did you figure out what caused it? Also, did your floor rip or just stretch?
Following to see any fixes.

Unfortunately the new tiles are getting scuffed also. I haven’t as yet made any attempts to determine what is going on, but my best guess is sand or grit on a roller, or perhaps a roller is seized and dragging. It’s been on my list of things to do but I’m not making much progress. It’s obviously just an aesthetics thing; always seem to have more critical repairs on my list that take priority.

No, my floor didn’t rip or stretch. The top layer of the tile simply abraded off, revealing a lighter color material underneath it.

Very odd, I would have expected the vinyl material to either stretch or dent but not that. I've taken a look and couldn't see any problems with any of the rollers. I'm leaning towards some item simply rolling there while driving and getting stuck.

What do you Tiffin owners do when trying to repair your floor, and Tiffin has discontinued the color? That's my predicament.

I need about one-square-foot of the "Sandstone" colored flooring to patch a hole.

I did try contacting an RV Salvage business, no luck there as well.

Took my 32 SA Tiffin to dealership for a recall on seatbelt mounts under the sofa. In the process the technician gouged one tile. Which you couldn't see with the slide in. But the technician was honest enough to tell me. After asking how do you remove old tile? He said he uses a heat gun to loosen the adheasive. The dealer replaced the tile. You can't tell which one it was.

I have vinyl tiles, but how would it be for those with a one piece seamless vinyl sheet roll? Seeing more and more RVs with those nowadays.
