Wall has moved

I honestly don’t understand how this could possibly happen, but here goes. I pulled into a campsite after an uneventful day except that there were rough areas on I-10. I noticed the bathroom door ( not the pocket door) didn’t close properly and there was a gap now on the side where the striker plate is. Hinges all seemed fine. No cracks or anything in the floor. However, the wall has moved about a 1/4 inch, maybe less, on the side of the frame where striker plate is. It slid forward based on marks in the ceiling, creating the door gap. Shower looks ok. No leaks. I can’t see anything amiss looking at fireplace which is the end of that wall, or the TV above fireplace. So basically that section of wall from bathroom door to fireplace has moved. What do I need to do? Where/how does this wall attach and what else do I need to check for? Slide is not involved. Everything seems lined up ok as it makes right angle turn to fireplace and tv.

I don’t know if this helps you but my 2020 Winnebago Horizon 42Q has a 1/2 bath in the none slide out mid-house. My outside wall of the bathroom moved so far I couldn’t close the door the first six months I owned it. Took it to Forest City and Winnie took 4 days to rebuilt that entire wall. All under the 3 yr Winnie warranty. That’s was Sept 2020, since the it’s been good. Lucky me I went they because they had all the parts and wallpaper to have it all match.
My guess is the attachment on the flooring was not secure.

Maybe see if you can knock it back in place with your hand. Sounds like they didn't attach it solidly to cleats on the ceiling.

I don't think there is any attachment to the ceiling, but it should be attached to the floor. Tiffin puts L brackets with screws at the base of the wall then hides them with the baseboard molding. It sounds like one of the screws going through the floor tile grout has broken off or pulled loose.

It’s probably where the wall is attached to the floor. Look that area over carefully…

Just curious if you resolved the wall moving problem? Was that wall missing the anchors it should have had?

Possible resolution

I called Tiffin to see what they had to say after unsuccessfully trying to push wall back in place and to locate missing or broken anchor or bolt. Tiffin told me that there is a bolt or anchor going into ceiling right behind the door jamb that has probably broken. The fix is to remove the door jamb, and using 2x4’s make a T-shaped brace placing the top of the brace against the ceiling. Using a small bottle jack under that T-brace , raise the ceiling just enough so that wall can be pushed back into place. Don’t really raise the ceiling to cause a gap, just take pressure off the wall. Release the jack once wall is in place and replace the broken bolt. I haven’t done it yet because I don’t really have the tools or possibly strength to move that wall, but will update here once my mobile tech looks into it.

I'm interested in following your resolution since I have the exact same coach. Note that once you take the ceiling weight off, it should not be difficult to move the wall back into place. I've used this technique to repair my barn.

Hi - Don't mean to object to what Tiffin told you but this was a somewhat common issue on the 37AP and 40 AP in that time frame. Some coaches were sent out without the floor bracket in place and some that did sheared the bolts. I'd check that first.
