Waterless Washing Question

I'm wondering about scratching the paint if I use one of these products without at least rinsing with water first. Anyone wish they hadn't used a waterless washing product? TIA

On occasion I have used a hose from my water pump that reaches to the front and do a quick roadside wash when the bugs are really bad. Truck stop or rest area works well. Most of the time I also use aero wash and wax.

In 10 years of full timing i have never had a park tell me i could not at least bucket wash. The bugs always get washed off the front when i arrive at my destination.
