I have this water softener and it has been excellent for a year's use. It's regenerated with a box of salt and usually goes for approximately 800 gallons. I attached a Watts regulator to the inlet set at 60 PSI that also works very well. I have the Mark 8000. http://www.flowpur.com/html/rv_water....html#interval
