Where is the fuse?
Hi all,
1st time asking a question. New owner of used 2013 Phaeton. I lost power to the front door grab bar circuit, which has several other switches now not working, and can’t find a fuse that is blown. Is there a resource for the labeling of the fuse panels as in a regular vehicle. I don’t see anything like this in the bag of manuals. I’ve been searching on internet with no success. Any help greatly appreciated.
I attached a pic of the panel. 12v switch is on and outside auto step works but other switches have no power.
Thx

First place I would look is the fuse box in the basement compartment below the drivers seat. Might have a tripped fuse in there.

What he said. My 2013 Bus came with laminated cards naming fuse locations zippy tied to a wire in that lower compartment. If you do not have those cards, Tiffin might be able to supply them. Some units might have the locations on the inside of the covers.

Are you saying that when you turn the salesman's switch on, you get no power to the other circuits? I think this switch actually controls a relay. The place to look is still the compartment under the driver's seat. If you can't find the card identifying the circuits, by all means give Tiffin Service a call.

Or the salesman switch is off?

I checked this compartment and used my ohmmeter to check continuity on all the small fuses. These are easily accessed just touching the small exposed pin surface. All checked ok. I didn’t pull the lager fuses as I hoped I could narrow down what location specifically to check.

The 12v on/off switch is on but no power to other toggle switches on the panel.
Also there are no cards in that compartment. I’ll try stiffen service.
Thx

So I have an update for anyone in the future that may run across my situation. As I stated prior, I checked the back of every fuse in the lower panel under the drivers side basement. I got continuity on all. I even retested them a second time to ensure I heard tone. Called Tiffin yesterday and the tech told me it was some form of switch that needed reset on the battery bank on the passenger side of my coach. There are no batteries on the passenger side. Called Tiffin today and got a better tech. Told him my situation and he led me back to the same bay. I found the card and it has “pass console power”. Found the 20amp fuse and he said go ahead and pull it to be sure. Son of gun, it was blown. He told me to swap out another unit in its place and “bobs ur uncle” it works.
My take away is always pull the fuse, don’t trust a quick check on the back.
Thx for all the input.

Thanks so much for the feedback. Electrical gremlins are the worst. Think tank odors run a close second. Trull appreciate you updating with the solution.
