Windshield is poping out on Bottom Corners

I own a 2009 Allegro Bus and I am having an issue with my windshield in that is coming out on the 2-bottom corners, I can stick my finger through the gap on the driverís side. Has anyone else out there had the same issue and if so how did you rectify.

You need to have the windshield removed and reset by glass company.
You may need a new gasket if original is not salvageable.
IF your windshield already has rock chips or is sand blasted, it may be worthwhile to turn into your insurance carrier.
Recommend Safelite Auto Glass as they have a Nation wide Life time warrantee.

Not sure if it applies to yours...........But usually happens from excessive body twisting.

I don't own the Tiffin but I did have this issue with my old National. The windscreen makes up a significant part of the structural integrity of your coach in the front. There is a fair bit of downward force applied to the windshield from supporting the roof. The only thing really holding it in place is the windshield gasket.

So you can have issues if....
The gasket has become damaged or cracked
Excessive twisting as mentioned above
or as in my case
super strong headwind coupled with an aged gasket and highway speeds. Popped that sucker out starting in corner as you have described.
Turned those 60 mph headwind gusts into a 100 MPH gusts

Now granted you have a 1 piece with a much newer gasket so you may want to make sure that you don't have some kind of fit issue preventing it from seating properly but I might also suspect that it wasn't ever seated completely properly from the get go and that time was ticking from day one.

Let us know what the outcome is.

I had the same problem with the 2007 Monaco Camelot I owned, windshield was replaced because it was cracked, they used the old gasket and 5 months later it popped out during a strong storm. I ended up paying for a new windshield and had a new gasket applied. Make sure you go with a new gasket.

The only think holding it in is the gasket is not exactly correct. After watching mine being replaced I can tell you that there is a lot of sealant used (Like two big tubes full) then the gasket is placed over the sealant. So it could be that the sealant broke free and it will be difficult to get it back into its original position. If it is in good condition, have it removed, clean all the on edges, and resealed. If it is chipped, or cracked, replace it.

Thanks to everyone who has written, somehow it makes me feel alittle better that I'm not the only one with this frustration.
The bottom drivers corner has cracks that do a simicirle about 4 inches in diameter that go from the bottom edge to the side edge, it appears that perhaps it's stress cracks.
So at this point I don't know if it will be a issue for a reinstall or if the insurance glass coverage would pay for a replacement because of the cracks.

Rodney, I have a friend with a 13 Bus. Been back to RB couple times and they finally adjusted the front cap. Their WS was coming out and at one point you could see the ground between the dash and WS. Fixed for now.

Thanks; What you have described is what I have in fact I can stick my finger through the hole, that is what I thought might be the issue, as I haven’t ever over twisted the coach off road or the jacks. Now I have the issue of convincing Tiffin it’ a manufacturing issue.

Rodney...is this problem recent? I doubt that you will get anywhere with "manufacturing issue" since your coach is a 2009, unless this has been ongoing since new. Good luck to you.
