windshield washer pump

Well let it be said you told me so. Got another new pump through our local dealer from Tiffin. Well it lasted about a month when I needed it it stopped working on our way to Myrtle Beach. Called Tiffin to find out if they had a recall on it nothing yet. I guess this will be our 5th one since we bought the 36LA last year in March. I did get a call back from Bob's son and I explained that at the cost of $45.00 for something that only last a month was just not wright. So he sent me two new ones free keep this in mind talk to the people at the top as the lower ones just tell tough luck.

Any chance you have sand or dirt in your tank?

Regads,

The first time I turned the wipers on the motor burned out. Took coach back to dealer. The tech said the motor was not big enough for the 32" wipers. He put a heavier duty motor in and I've had no problems in a year and a half.

Clean tank washed out before installing

tank cleaned out pump just worked fine when installed. When I left for trip it worked but when I got down around lower part of VA. it quit and never came on again. These pumps are made in Italy and have found no one that will stand behind these cheap pieces of S**T.

If the pump is part of the tank, can you disassemble the pump and remove the guts so the fluid can flow through.
Then you should be able to find a aftermarket pump that you can put in-line.

Regards,
Dan
