Winegard help

Ok we picked up our new 37PA and never turned on or checked the factory installed Winegard. So of course we did not try it out at the dealer and went to use it yesterday and it seems there is no power to the unit nor can we see where it is plugged in as the wire disappears into a wall. The dealer is not responding over the last couple of days. Any ideas????????

If you have the WineGard RoadTrip dome antenna, the power switch should be above the driver in a cabinet and there is no visible wire. If you are talking about the receiver in the AV cabinet, it plugs into 120v outlet inside the cabinet and will have to be activated by DirecTV or Dish whichever you are using. The HDMI splitters have to be turned on with the switch inside the cabinet to send a signal to the TVs. A little more info about what is not working would help walk you through it.

Momdoc:

I have the same issue, no power to the dish controller (nothing to do with the receiver) and the power cord disappears behind the bulkhead. Iím thinking I need to remove the control panelto access it. Hopefully someone will have a better suggestion.

Turns out the OP's problem was not with a satellite receiver, it was the Winegard ConnecT wifi system she was having problems with. This was also posted on another Forum.

What control panel are you talking about? The Winegard RoadTrip only has an on/off switch and the Trav'ler has a control box in the AV cabinet.

LT Dan we are going to pull the panel tomorrow or Tuesday now that we have landed somewhere for a couple of days. Hopefully they just forgot to plug it in during the build.
And my the way (no big deal) but Momdoc is a he. I am a retired ob/gyn doc.

My apologies, I have a Travíler with a control box, it sounded like we had the same issue.

Are you set to switch A in the av compartment ? This is for rooftop feed and B is cable in campsite hardwire or ground dish.
