02 American Tradition Parts

Just recently purchased my wife and my first Class A RV, a 2002 American Tradition. Just back from our first excursion and loving it! Does anyone have any suggestions on how to find parts for this RV? I'm in need of a door latch for the screen door, and small things like the American Tradition dash badge that sits just above speedometer. I've checked this link and can't seem to find the correct parts: https://www.google.com/aclk?sa=l&ai=...hsQ0Qx6BAgFEAE

The sources I have used are AC's own RV parts website. ( tricky to exactly know whats what. But often theres a photo to accompany the item )
and Ebay is a source...
and also it takes ailttle looking online using the manufacture name and often calling and just asking folks.

Best to you

Try Colaw RV in Missouri. They have many American coaches of that vintage in their salvage yard.

Rob,

Is this your screen handle?

https://www.amazon.com/Leisure-Coachworks-Screen-Latch-Handle/dp/B09VMSHDTF/

Lots of parts in RV's are common. The AC emblem on the dash might be hard to find. Put your inner Maker to work.

Here is the one I purchased. Direct replacement for my 2002. Looks about the same as link above. The other item is for drawer latches. I have found it’s good to have a couple of those as well.

Hi Rob,

Not knowing where on this beautiful planet you park your rig, I don't know if this referral is useful to you, but here in Indiana I go to Ickes RV Surplus Supply in Montpelier, which is a small town in the northeast part of the state, a bit south of Fort Wayne. They have literally warehouses containing boxes and bins full of "stuff" that they bought from the big RV manufacturers in Elkhart County Indiana. Call them at 765: 728-5668 and explain what you need.

Best Regards and Merry Christmas,
Frank & Lexi
Indianapolis
