'04 American Eagle - House Lights won't turn on - help?

I have an '04 American Eagle that recently had issues with the house lights not turning on when the door opens. It's a new issue, but I couldn't find anything in the owners manual so I figured I'd take a stab by asking others on this forum if they could help me solve this problem.

I checked all fuses, they all looked fine. The front house lights won't turn on even when I click any of the switches as well - any help would be greatly apprecaited!

Thanks in advance,

Lance

Raise the bed and look under the access panel, there you should find the fuses for the front lights. If you have checked here have you looked under the front entry steps? Oh, welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the speedy response (and the welcome to the forum!). I've checked the fuses under the bed and under the front entry steps - all appear to be good. I made sure all the switches are upward and on in the fuse panel under the bed as well. A friend of mine went with me on a trip and he was playing with some of the buttons up front, ironically this is when the lights stopped working up front. Hmmm.... I'm still on the hunt to figure out how to regain power.

Any help?

Thanks,

Lance

Check the fuse under the bed for that circuit - use a VOM to determine if you have 12v there. Probably do, but its something that should be verified before digging deeper.

Are all the other 12v lights working ok? Is it just the front ceiling lights that don't come on? In my 2004 Tradition, they come on with the door switch (that is controlled by another circuit in the board under the bed) and also by a switch in the lounge area (on the end of the galley cabinets in mine).

I'm moving this thread to the Fleetwood Owners forum - the issue is very specific to the American Coach brand.
