04 American Tradition Solar Controller?

I have a solar panel on the rear roof of my coach. I can not find a controller box which might tell me if it is working or not. I have seen on other posts that these monitors are located in different places on other coaches. Any information/discription on this monitor would be much appreciated.. Thanks

There should be a red led on one of your air conditioning units that lights up when the solar is working. Mine has a label indicating it is for the solar panel. It is a fairly weak panel do not expect very much.

The solar panel charging is controlled via the Intellitec Batetry Charge Controller (BCC), which is in the battery compartment. It is a black box on the rear wall on the right. You can get a service manual for the BCC on the Intellitec web site - yours is a Model 800 like mine. It explains the functions of the BCC, including solar, and shows schematics as well.

There is no solar charge LED in a Tradition. Wish there was - I've though about adding one some day.
