Angry 04 Fleetwood Bounder

I have a 04 Bounder and I'm trying to winterrise it by putting that pink
antifreeze in the reserve tank and pump to all the faucte's and it wont pick up the antifreeze. so is there any suggestion to what is the cause. our pump is running but the pink liq.wont come thru. I'm running a small heater in the MH. I'm sure that's not enought. our weather is turning into the teens for the next couple of day. so I'm needing some suggestion soon.
Thanks for any imfo..

If you have operated your by-pass valves correctly and you are not filling the hot water tank check the siphon tube and make sure you have a valve open to suck the Anti up to the water pump.
You should also drain all water out of lines at the low point drain valves and open all faucets to drain out as much water as possible.
Do not forget toilets, showers inside and out plus washer locations if you have one or its pre-plumbed.

I'm not sure what you are referring to when saying you're putting the antifreeze in the "reserve tank". If you're talking about your fresh water tank, you'll have to put a LOT of antifreeze in that tank to get enough in there for the pump to access. That'll waste a lot of antifreeze & come warmer weather, you'll have a heck of a time getting the antifreeze taste out of your fresh tank.

We've got a winterizing kit (i.e another hose with a cap on the end & a shut off valve on it) connected to the pump, your Bounder should have one too. What we do is shut the valve to fresh water tank hose that's connected to the water pump and open the valve to the other plastic hose that has a plug on the end of it. Then we stick that hose in a bucket that we've poured about 4 gallons of antifreeze into. When you turn on the pump, it will suck the antifreeze out of the bucket & into the lines. We pour more antifreeze into the bucket if it starts to get low. It takes just shy of 5 gallons to do our coach (including fridge icemaker & washer).

Just add some more water to the fresh tank until you have enough to pump. You don't need a lot of antifreeze in the water to be ok at 20 degrees.

And make sure the city water fill valve is closed (in the normal use position). You can't pump water from the fresh tank unless it is in the "use" position rather than "fill".

It came on the Bounder when we bought it. But you can buy kits at any RV store. RVUpgrades has one for just over $15 (see item labeled Pump Converter Winterizing Kit).

It may be too late for this year but you may try using air to blow out the water lines next year. I put a blow out plug into the city water connection and use my air compressor at about 40psi to drain the water (black water rinse also) Search - blow out - Camping World

Then I put the anti freeze into the washer, gray tank, black tank and all the traps. I disconnect the ice maker and remove the valve. I have been using this method for 5 years without problems. Michigan winters are somewhat cold. I also use a checklist so I will not forget any drains.

I have the washer/dryer combo. I follow the instructions in the manual - they are something like this WINTERIZE -- With washer-dryer power
OFF, pour ½ quart of RV-type antifreeze into washer drum;Close door. Advance Cycle
Selector to ‘Spin’;Press ON/OFF button, then press START. let the washerdryer
