Question 05 Excursion - water pump won't shut off?

Why won't my water pump shut off? 05 Excursion 39L. Other day I went out to drain the HW and fresh tank in prep for winterizing. I opened and shut a couple of the faucets just to break air seals and then opened the hot and cold drains out in the wet bay, as usual. Noticed that the water pump wouldn't shut off when all the faucets were closed back down. I went around and closed all the faucets and other water-dispensing items that I could think of.

The main water pump switch up in front on the monitor panel doesn't seem to want to shut the pump off. I tried all the pump switches themselves at the faucets and still nothing. I shut off the batts and went back inside. Today, got the compressor out and did the winterizing thing - bypassed and drained HW tank, pushed air through all the lines - sink, shower, lavy, commode, toilet wand, outside kitchen faucets, the rinsing hose in the wet bay, opened and closed the hot and cold drains again until nothing comes out but air. I'm fairly certain that there's very little water in the RV at this time. But the darn pump won't shut off. I ended up pulling the fuse.

I'm kind of thinking the main rocker switch up front is bad, since it seems to do nothing when rocked back and forth, and the red power light does not go off. Thoughts?

Those momentary rocker switches send a ground signal to the water pump controller. If one of those switches remains closed it will cancel out the function of the other switches. All you can do is unplug one switch at a time and see if the other switches work. It's just a process of elimination.

Make sure all faucets are really off, especially the outside (shower?) faucet. And there is water in the fresh water tank. No water will make it run.
Full Timers.

See if you can find the pump controller, likely in the same compartment as the water pump. If it looks like the following, pull the wire labeled "SW" and temporarily touch a jumper wire from GND (Ground) to SW. Each time you do, the pump should go from ON to OFF, or OFF to ON. If it doesn't, the controller is likely bad. If it does, you'll need to determine which pump switch is at fault as Richard pointed out.
