05 Jamboree shower water valve?

So all the water lines are on the driver side of the rig and everything works. The shower however is on the passenger side and nothing when you turn the knobs. I pulled the panels near the lines and I can see the winterizing chemicals in the lines and I know the pump works so I am thinking there must be a valve between the pump and shower.

I have scoured the owner's manual but since they write it for every make/model the have it's somewhat vague (See my post on finding my water tank drain valve ).

If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it.

Make sure all the other faucets are closed, especially the outside shower if you have one. I'm not aware of any valve between the shower and pump. You might call Fleetwood Customer Service at 800-322-8216; they are usually very helpful. Good luck!

Are you getting water everywere else? If so, there is a small valve at the spray nozzle that might be shut off. DW hollered for days because that little valve was closed!!!!

I am getting water every where else. Even the outside shower nozzle. I tried the shut off switch when I tried the shower and it was still a no go. I called Fleetwood and they confirmed there is no line valve to the shower and suggested the same thing you did.

At this point I plan on swapping the nozzles from the outside to the shower to see if the inside nozzle itself is the issue.

Can you just take the shower head off and see if water is coming out the line with the head removed? Maybe your shower head is stopped up and needs replacing. (I don't know if it has one of those little screens in it or not, like a faucet.)

Well I learned 2 important things last week. Fleetwood service reps don't know much about the rigs they sell apparently and there was indeed a set of water shut off valves for the shower located under the refrigerator.

I needed to get the shower working at the DW's insistence due to a planned 3 night stay out at Palo Duro. I couldn't say no because I have been wanting to get it fixed since I discovered it didn't work. I took it to a professional RV repair facility expecting to take the financial hit but it took them less than 30 minutes to figure it out.

The tech explained that it is very common for service reps to be usually ignorant unless you get that 1 in 100 who actually knows what's going on so keep that in mind if you give Fleetwood a call and they give you a wrong answer.

Putting that aside it cost me all of $52 to get my shower "fixed" and I won't waste time on the phone when I can take it to a good RV facility that knows what's going on.
