American Coach: 06 Revolution awning

I have an 06 Revolution LE and think the awning could be tightened up some, looks alittle saggy. Is this something that can be adjusted?

No adjustment the 2 spring loaded Pistons push the awning open.

Maybe new gas springs are needed,

It will never be tight you might try putting a little oil on shafts.

It can't. But it has the unique feature of filling with water every time it rains. So you have the combination (for an awning) of no shade and full of water. We had that experience on an '09 Allegiance, with this coach the engineers seemed to have fixed that problem...finally.

Have you looked into those sun shades with the zippered drop? We picked one up from.......you guessed it, Quartzsite! LOL. Just unzip and fold the screen the pull in the awning. You would prob. need a 4' drop.

That's a draw back from having a slide under the awning you have less space under it also.

FYI there are pins on the uprights that allow the end of the awning to be closer to the ground,steeper slope ,I forget it it's 3 or 4 holes,with a spring loaded pin that allows them to be relocated, We don't open the passenger slide unless we have company , bumping my old head when in the basement and very little awning space.
Not exactly your question but just an adjustment I made that helped to drain the awning and provide better shade,it is covered in the manual also.Nice Rv too
