12vdc

07 Bounder. Previous owner replaced dometic 1350 w/ a household Frigidaire. I’m putting a new 1350 back in. Got everything done but the 12vdc. The only wire was a black and yellow capped under the cabinet next to the opening in back. No voltage when engine is on or off. Any ideas what to do?

could be a fuse or breaker issue since 12 vdc wasn't used for the 120 v fridge

Any ideas where I can get a schematic? The fuse panel does not show a slot for the fridge. The install manual requires an 8 amp circuit. I see no 8 amp fuses. However, next to the 12vdc connections on the fridge there’s a small black box labeled 8 amp. I can send a pic if it’ll help.

Welcome to iRV2 .

The 12 volt power for the fridge comes directly from the coach batteries , so should be constant, with the coach batteries charged or powered from the converter; when on shore power; ,the ignition key will have no effect except to up the voltage to alternator output with the engine running.
The fridge wiring fuse, in the coach panel , will not be 8 amp, probably 15 to allow for voltage drop over the length of wire.
The box marked 8 amp probably , has an 8 amp fuse inside.
Check all the fuses in the coach panel with a meter or test light .
