‘15 Bounder 33c slide doesn’t come in

We’ve been living in our Bounder since July, and in Texas since December. And yes, we probably should have checked this periodically..

Tested the slides to make sure they come in. Bedroom, not a problem. The driver side however comes in about an inch, then stops.

The controller is good, can’t tell if there is anything hung up or preventing the slide from coming in.

We had a mobile RV tech come out, he says it’s the motor. Ordered a new one and that will be installed on Monday.

Is there anything else we should be checking out looking at? We leave Texas the end of April so we need to get this fixed.

I have a '16 Bounder. Last year I had a similar problem. The slide would start to come then stop moving only a inch or so. My problem was the lower frame/support for the front part of the slide was hitting the exterior wall when it was trying to come in.
There are adjustments for the slide that should be periodically checked for tightness apparently. One had worked itself just loose enough to allow the slide to adjust itself lower allowing the part to hit the frame and stop it from coming in.
Simple fix was to support the slide with a jack and 2x4. Loosen the adjustment bolt and allow it to come up a bit then tighten everything back up, remove the jack.
All's good now.
I do check most nuts, bolts, screws for tightness on my rv at least annually but just did not figure to check these. So now they are on the annual checklist. One should not be surprised how loose many become over time.
