1992 Southwind leveling system

hello, I am new to the forum as well as to the whole RV life. i cannot find any information on the operation of the leveling jacks for my couch. the owners manual has very little information, and judging by what it does say i have an early coach as my controls are located in the floor, left of the drivers seat, not on the dash as indicated in the manual. any help with the operation would be greatly appreciated. thank you

Welcome to iRV2.

Does your manual give any indication of the leveling system manufacturer ?

HWH and Power Gear are common in your vintage.

Are the controls a push button pad or a lever system ( joystick )?

Here's info on HWH system identification , once you have a series number you can download a users manual from the website.

If it is anything like my old 2000 Southwind. There are 3 sticks. When not in use, all 3 sticks are in the middle. When you want to extend the supports, then push the top and bottom stick away from the middle.

Then with the center joy stick, level left/right first by pushing the middle stick left or right. Next front or back. When your ready to leave, just pull the top and bottom joy stick back to the center and the supports will auto retract.

Hope this helps.

Also, skip helped me when I first joined as well.
