1993 Bounder
Just purchased from private owner a 1993, 34 foot, 46,000 miles, Fleetwood Bounder (34J Model)..I accept your condolences....I will make the best of it. lol Problem driving it home I lost power steering and power brakes. All fluids are full. Power steering fluid is backing up out of canister over flow tube. Steering AND brake pedal make the bad pump sound. It does NOT happen if I am sitting still in PARK. Oh, and while in PARK, RV will roll forward or backward whichever way the incline is. Any ideas of what I'm dealing with here? And of course, remedies.....lol Thanks.

Welcome and no worries, I have a 94 Pace Arrow and with the help of the great folks here in these forums answers you will find.
Do you know what chassis you have? Ford Chevy? If it's Chevy and you have brake issues then PM oldusedbear on this forum he is the autoparkbrake expert or send me your email via PM and I will forward every email he sent me. Roger is a good man that has helped many fix their problems.

Did by some chance did you throw a belt off? I have had problems with the smog pump on a 454 locking up. It's mounted low where it picks up road water and I guess that causes the problem
Good luck

The belt as already mentioned would be the first thing I'd check as well.

tryingtodoit,
We are all friends here so it's ok to state your name.
This is where a Chevy truck dealer's repair shop comes in handy. You can get an estimate which includes what has to be done and either have them do it or seek a cheaper solution.

Hello
If have not found your answer yet you can also try the Yahoo Bounder Group. A lot of good and smart people there also. I had a 94 34J on a F53 chassis and I liked it a lot. Good Luck
