If the coach batteries are charged and the chassis batteries are not charged, here is a possible problem. When plugged into shore power, the coach batteries are charged, the chassis batteries are not. For the chassis batteries to receive the charge, the coach batteries must be charged to at least 13.3 amps. When that happens, the Big Boy relay opens and the chassis batteries will receive the charge. When driving the charge is reversed with the alternator charging the chassis batteries, and when they are at 13.3, the Big Boy will open and the coach batteries will receive the charge.
