1996 American Eagle Battery Wire

replaced the house batteries and have this grey wire that was not hooked up. Any ideas on where it goes? Hopefully someone will have the answer and same some time looking. Assuming it was once hooked to a positive post

There is a chance that's a battery temperature sensor. Read the printing on the wire to see if its coax cable. If it is, it runs to the inverter/charger and plugs into a phone type jack.

If it is, place it on a negetive post in the center of the bank. It doesn't carry current, it just senses battery temps to adjust float voltage.
