1996 Bounder isolater relay .

We are plugged into shore power at an RV Park , a couple days ago I started hearing the s random clicking or clunking sound . I finally found the noise coming from the box under the hood where I believe lives the isolator relay . I think thatís the noise Iím hearing . Any ideas of the possible cause ?

My ac heat management system box went to clicking
Its inside coach had a Mobil rv guy look at it said the switch inside the management was bad.
Said change that out it be back working.

Yours could be same issue.

How's your heat air working

Like I said noise is coming from isolator relay under the hood .

Your isolator relay is controlled by the circuit board next to it. The relay is turned on when either battery bank raches 13.3 volts and drops out when battery voltage reaches 12.8 volts.
The relay is also energized with the emergency start button on the dash.
When the relay starts clicking, check the control circuit voltage in the two small posts. If the voltage is stable, the relay is bad. If the voltage fluxuates, check all connections before condemning the RV Custom Products circuit board.

Thanks House Husbamd , Iíll take a look at that . The other day I checked the water in the house batteryís , all where low do I filled them with distilled water . The clucking has slowed down a lot . Maybe time for batteryís ?

Most informed RVers suggest distilled water in the batteries. I also suggest distilled water in the cooling system. My 95 Bounder radiator tubes are spotless because I use distilled water mixed 50/50 with antifreeze. Distilled water has no solids to cause build up.
