1996 Eagle engine

Don’t have any plans to do it anytime soon but has anybody pulled the engine out. Looks to be on rollers and was wondering how much work it is to slide it out. Recently pulled the injection pump and it would have been a whole lot easier with the engine slid out.

I don't know what chassis your Eagle is built on ; but ; I'd love to see pictures of a roller system ; considering the engine and trans would have to slide together and weigh in excess of 1500 lbs.

Spartan chassis of that generation did have optional pull out rear frames that the engine / trans was attached to. I have not seen one though, so yeah post pics when you can.

That weight might be a bit low, my engine alone, without 10 1/2 gallons of oil or the transmission weighs 2,540.
