1996 eagle windshield rubber
Looks as the windshield seal has got separated from the body on the right side causing a gap between the seal and the cab corner. No evidence of any structure damage. Think the rubber just dried up. Where would a person find one?

lat year I was on an unlevel site and popped my windshield out at the top and cracked it as well. I had 2 new windshields installed, and installed put in new rubber so I have the old one sitting around. They did say they did say the rubber is only good for 20yrs. Is it possible your windshield is popped out a bit??

Rubber doesn't seem to be hard or cracked. Noticed it while Kept hearing wind noise that I never heard before. Nothing looks tweaked that I can tell. Neither broke. One place says to replace the seal(1000.00), another place says no. would upload a pic but it won't let me.

Call Guardian Windshields and have them re-Set the Glass with the Seal.

Being a reasonably frugal person, (that means my money is going for more important RV repairs) and having a similar windshield seal issue I went about this differently.
While my windshield never totally popped out, but it did separate enough at one corner several times to have a sliver of opening there. I used some flat tools to carefully manipulate the rubber and pushed the windshield back into place. I then bought some black sealant (Black Dynaflex 230 from Home Depot -- it is a mess to work with but dries and seems to bond well) and filled some spots and sealed others with several beads around both front windows. (it does look sort of ugly) I figured there was a good chance I would get a rock and break a windshield while on our Alaska trip anyway. The window has held fine and I only got a small rock chip in Alaska. So I wait a while longer. I cannot say the wind noise is a low as a new rubber seal probably is, but it is acceptable to me.
Good luck --- Dale

Local glass shop looked at it yesterday and tried shoving it back in with no luck. They are going to pull the right glass and reinstall the rubber and glass. best part is the 50.00 they are charging. Says rubber is fine. Much better than the 1000.00 price from the other shop
