1996 Southwind thing to check

had the windshield come out two times. Then I think I found out why

there is a bracket on each side on the very front of frame that ties the coach to the frame. they use very thin I think 16 gage to make the bracket that bolts the coach to the frame .

both on mine were broken so the front of the coach was floating and moving too much as I drove .

the fix I hope was to make a bracket out of 1/4 in 2 1/2 angle iron about 2 1/2 in long and have it welded in . it uses a single bolt to tie the bracket to the frame with a rubber pad between. also there is a bumper under the
frame that was gone so I got some rubber shock from auto parts store to replace this gives the frame a little movement but keeps it from moving too much
