Transmissions do NOT create emissions. So please spare the drama. Master tech? Come back when you have a degree in Aeronautical engineering then we can have a sit down. This tech is Childs play for me.

Todays (0) weight oils were brought on by hybrid engine technology primarily.
Childs Play ? If you dont understand how Transmissions and Differentials play a part in modern cars and trucks "and being obtuse and not willing to learn" Then you must still be in Kindergarten.. Your really Embarrassing yourself....

Obviously you did Not read this whole thread...
I stated .. The only reason was to get the temp of the trans up to temp quick so as to pass Emissions.. Nothing more. After that it actually become a detriment. An external cooler is the way to go.

I will try again... This off of a RAM website....The coolant lines are to get the axle lube up to temp quicker for better fuel economy, which in turn Lowers Emissions. There's a three way valve that controls the coolant to the axle. First to Heat then to Cool. Get It ? The same applies to Transmissions. Parasitic draw of Cold Fluids is a REAL thing. Emissions are measured by the EPA after the vehicle is built and must meet the criteria that was proposed by the manufacturer. And checked periodically. :Thats how VW got caught" I also stated the OP he didnt have to worry about it . But was chastisized for my knowledge.

Next time you do an emissions check have them hook the sniffer up to your trans and see if you pass
