I don't have leveling Jack's. I'm new to the 30 ft motorhome and not sure if I need them. I know they would make it easier, but cost is an issue. I see where one bolts on in front good area, two are behind wheels in back, but can't find other. Any ideas? I assume it's not only 3. Are there any manual or affordable electric ones I can put on?

There should be a leveling jack at each corner (more or less) of the RV. You do need them to be complete and in working order. One of the reasons is that the refrigerators in these rigs need to be pretty close to level in order to operate correctly.

My 1997 Bounder came with 1 in front (center) and 2 behind rear wheels. I’m just guessing but if yours doesn’t have them, you can probably buy another rig of that vintage and price range with them already on it cheaper than you can purchase new ones along with controls and pump(s). However, you might check with the RV salvage yards and see what would be the cost of a complete used set.

Fleetwood factory jacks are 3 point from Power Gear. My 95 Bounder has aftermarket HWH kick down 4 point jacks, that have performed very well.
You chassis will require jacks that are rated for 11k lbs. rear and 6k lbs. front.
The only electric jack that I'm aware of were from Atwood and had many failures and are no longer available.

Are they necessary, not really..

On my first two MHs, I carried various lengths of 2x6 ( 12 - 24 inch). I could usually get the MH reasonably level without putting any of the 2x6 under tires..

With haveing a slide on our Southwind, the jacks are more of a "stabilizer" than a leveling device. they help stabilize and bouncing around, especially when that slide is sticking way out there.

My Southwind has four jacks, but its really a tripod system. The two front jacks are plumbed together and serve as one jack. The two rear jacks are separate and make up the other two legs for stabilizing.

I don't think it would be worth the expense to add them to your MH.
