The source manager has a internal transfer switch, it could be worn / sticking contactor... meaning the source manager is getting power from shore plug and gen set at same time?
When you tried it with shore plug unplugged and no power was in coach, was breaker on outside of generator tripped?
You can take the top panel off the source manager, all the contactors are right there.
OF Course make sure coach is unplugged, and disconnect the house batteries at the fuse in the battery compartment.
While you have the top off, lift the handle on the far right side of contactor panel and it'll hinge up. The battery charger and controller is under it. Usually there's a lot of old foam insulation that's came loose, it'll cause the source manager to overheat. You can vacuum it all out with shop vac....
