Question 1999 American Eagle Turning Radius and City Water Connection Questions

Recently purchased a 1999 American Eagle with the Spartan Chassis. I have been unable to find out what degree is the turning angle. Any help would be appreciated.

Had a 2009 Tiffin Allegro Open Road but always wanted a diesel pusher and the above coach became available at a price that was hard to pass up. Even though the AE is 10 years older than the Allegro there are bells and whistles we have not seen before. The AE had 35k miles on the engine so I felt the RV would last a while.

Reading about the inverter and solar panel and being able to run things in the AE without the generator is something I am looking forward to testing out.

Currently have the AE in the shop getting things replaced, changed or added so we have only used it once for a week.

My second question is about the city water connection. At the RV park we connected to city water, but it kept flowing out of the overflow area. I am sure that I had set correctly for city water and was not overfilling the fresh water tank. Any ideas or suggestions?

Turning radius would be in feet and inches. Wheel turn angle will be in degrees. I know of nothing like you ask that would be in percent.

Sounds like the valve was selected to tank fill and you were over filling water tank. As far as I know there is no other overflow besides the tank.

On the water connection, you must close the bypass valve or the city water will continue to fill your on-board water tank, which when full will simply drain through the overflow.

Wheel cut on the Spartan Mountain Master chassis that your Eagle rides on is 55 degrees.

Thanks for the information on my turning angle. I thought it might be less, so I am happy to learn it is 55 degrees.

When I get the RV back from the shop I will play around with the bypass and city water valves as I thought that I had them pointed correctly. Appears that could be the only reason I was having this issue.

Thanks again for the information
