1999 American Tradition Roof Replacement?

Hello All,
I discovered water damage on my wall where passenger seat belt attaches. Turned out to be much worse that I had hoped. It’s obvious I have a leak somewhere and I suspect it’s where the roof meets the wall and the awning mounts. The substructure at that area is questionable, though I see no signs of damage on roof.
Have any of you replaced your roof? If so, did you use the Rubber roof as original? Filon? Sprayed on? I’m tempted to do the permanent spray on roof that has a lifetime warranty but not sure that’s the best option. At $195/linear foot, it ain’t cheap. Not sure what other options cost yet.
For those that can stomach it, here is a pic of the damage. I’d guess it’s been leaking for years.

I’d appreciate any input/advice. I will repair the wall, but do not have the facilities to do the roof.

Thanks
Aaron

Are you certain it's a rubber roof? My 99 Eagle has fiberglass roof. Yours for sure looks like a leak where the awning screws are.
Now that you got the area exposed, wet it with a garden hose and look for the leak...

I had one at rear awning top mount leak into the closet there...just one day noticed the closet cedar wall damp looking... remove and sealed awning mount with some dicor and let a hose run on that part of roof for a long while to be sure it was stopped.

Yes, mine is rubber. I suspect since the tradition is bottom of the barrel as far as the models go, that the roof is rubber.

I also have a 1999 American Tradition which sustained baseball size hail on it in June of 2017. I had R.V. Armor replace my roof which included new luan underlayment. Came right to my house and did the job, very satisfied with the outcome. Naturally it helped when insurance picked up the bulk of the repair. As mentioned transferable lifetime warranty.
