A bit more info would help. What coach do you have and what type of generator? Diesel or propane? I'm sure someone will be able to help you out.

When was the last time the generator was serviced? Most likely your fuel filter is the culprit!

If this coach is new to you, it's hard to tell what a previous owner may have done, or is this something that has previously worked and now suddenly is shutting off when moving?
In either case, we need to determine if it's setting any error codes or just simply being shut off. When it shuts off is the START/STOP light blinking? If so push STOP once and count flashes. If not blinking push STOP 4 times quickly. It will begin to give 2 sets of flashes, each separated by a pause. For instance, if a code 32 it will flash BLINK BLINK BLINK pause BLINK BLINK then pause and repeat.

How long have you owned this couch? could it be programmed to do this?
I just purchased one for ourselves last week ;-) and just brought it home so I'm not much help yet I'm afraid.

It is my friend coach , I'm prepairing it for a long trip after seven years parking in his driveway.
He alway had the same problem since he bought it ten years ago .
He took the coach 3 times to check on that problems , mechanics replace filter fuel pump and didn fix the issue .
Now I changed the oil /filter and air filter .
For me it is a fuel problem .going to drop the tank next week.

Probably a dumb question but why would you want to run the generator so bad while driving? I figure that big diesel in the back makes enough noise and with the inverter you should have enough power to do the few things you do traveling?
Or what secrets do I have yet to learn?
Regards
Ed

I Knew it was dumb question Can you run one roof AC from the 2000 Watt Inverter and run your Dash Air?
That would give reasonable cooling capacity, I know when you live in Texas and it gets 110F......
Kind regards
Ed

No you cannot run one roof A/C from your inverter.
Dash A/C's can help, but it is a long way from the compressor to the front of the coach and they do nothing for the back of the coach.

Thanks Dave, I appreciate you're patience with the Newb, So far we have only driven our unit home from the previous owner and have not needed to deal with any of this so I am glad you're telling me this.
Next time we have an excuse to start her up I will be sure to try and run the Genset while driving! For now we've spend most of our time scrubbing and cleaning and doing tons of minor fixes
Kind regards,
Ed

A new question, how much fuel in the fuel tank, some gens. wont run if the fuel level gets to low, saves you from being stranded, just a thought.
