2000 American Tradition Deadbolt

I have the original style deadbolt installed through the wall in my 2000 American Tradition. Has anyone found a way to install the latest garden variety door deadbolt in this RV through the wall? I would like to install a higher security lock. This can be done through the door panel, too, but I'm curious what other owners have done. The internet and locksmiths have been consulted, too. The cylinders fit just fine, but the bolt itself will not because the wall thickness is narrow and the bolt cutout is metal.

This is a follow up. I could not find a locksmith or a kit to install a high security deadbolt. I machined the inside of the aluminum wall to accept a high security deadbolt with a LFIC core. The latching mechanism for the deadbolt was machined down to fit the narrow backset inside the wall. It was a lot of work and took alot of time, but the new commercial grade deadbolt is reliable and works well.
