Is it a hydraulic system? HWH? If so, find the hydraulic manifold under the back of the slide maybe? Under the stairs? Where did you hear the motor? It's there.

Wherever you find it, look for a giant automotive 40 amp fuse in an in-line fuse holder very near to the manifold. They rust or corrode the terminals over time and they go bad. Replacement substitute parts on the parts carousel at the Napa store. I'd replace the fuse and if you get the spade type you can use crimp on terminals instead of a big horky ol' timey cylindrical fuse and in-line holder. Maybe cover things with heat shrink tubing. Harbor Freight has low cost kits of heat shrink.
