2002 Bounder water pump controller location
Hey folks! I’ve run out of ideas of where to look for my drinking water pump controller. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Locate the 2 wires on the pump. Follow them. Its connected to the controller a foot or so away. A black box with several connections.
Looks like this

The controller on my 2000 Bounder is mounted on the wall above the pump on the left as you face the compartment. It is just above the water heater bypass valve.

Have a buddy that has a Southwind that couldnt find his. We looked and looked. We finally found it behind the 120v electrical panel. Why they would put it there is beyond me. But thats where it was at. It would make more sense to put it close to the pump. May not help you but may help someone else looking for it.

LOL I have a 2017 Bounder 35K that had the relay for the neutral safety switch that controls the slides and jacks go bad. Had it in the shop (warranty) for weeks. The tech could never find it. He was getting ready to pull the fridge out as it looked like the wires went up in that direction and said "screw this"! He just rewired the circuit and put the new relay next to all the other relays. THE WORSE PART OF THIS STORY IS, REV REFUSED TO LET US KNOW WHERE THE RELAY WAS MOUNTED! I called, the tech called, and the service manager called. No dice, they wouldn't let us know where it's mounted. LOL, it's still mounted on the coach someplace.
Just an FYI for those with the 2016-2017 Bounder 35K model. Over the inverter in the power bay you will see 4 relays mounted for various duty. On all other Bounder models (same year) you will see 5 relays.

Maybe you don't have a controller? How many switches marked water pump do you have? Our coach has 5 switches. If you have more than one switch, the controller is hidden somewhere and from the other posts could be anywhere. Someone with a 2002 Bounder must know. Good Luck!

3 switches. I’m an electronics/controls guy so I understand there are 2 ways to do those kinds of controls. Either through relay logic or using a controller. Controller would be cheaper so that’s what I’m assuming there is. I can find the controller on Amazon, but not in the bus. Should be an easy fix but I’ve been out of water for months. I can’t believe that fleetwood doesn’t know either.

I did a search for 2000 Bounder for the controller using the the above IRV2 search and found SEVERAL locations where the controller is mounted. Some are under dresser drawer, hidden in the galley area, behind the AC breaker panel, etc.
Try this
https://www.google.com/search?q=2002...earch=irv2.com
Keep looking you will find it. John

In our 2005 Bounder 34M it's mounted on the forward wall inside the compartment with the pump. Ours stopped working while in Atlantic Canada a few years ago. I had the pump replaced but it still would cut on and off. I took the controller off and the circuit board on the back was soaking wet with humidity. I dried it off and it's been working fine ever since. I kept the controller I picked up in Maine as a spare.

It appears that it’s completely arbitrary. I’m gonna have to run new wiring to a single switch. There have been better ideas come out of this thread than from fleetwood or dealerships. Good luck!
