2002 fleetwood 39z lp tank

I have purchased a 39z diesel. I can. Not find. Switch for the lp tank. I found where you fill it. But can not see the actual tank. Gauges show it is full but I can not get stove to light. So figure there has to be. Switch somewhere

Are they a switch near the Fill port?
Inside the D near the floor they should be a LP monitor. Is it on?

Lot of info can be gotten about your year D from other owners at Discovery Owners.
It is worth the $$ to join.

It could be in the hallway or kitchen area. It will be mounted near the floor.

Here is a picture of mine, yours may not be the same but probably similar. Mine is located near the floor just under the stove. It has to be turned on, it could take 30 seconds or so before the green light flashes on/off. Also make sure that your propane tank valve is open as well. Once the green light flashes then you should be able to light your propane appliances. It also may take awhile to the propane to be bled out of the lines. Generally you should try to light your stove burners first.

The gas detector needs to be turned on as does the actual switch for the solenoid on the tank. Since your tank is likely remotely mounted away from the fill, the switch will be at the fill port.

In my Discovery the switch is right next to the propane fill port. It's a simple rocker style switch with a weatherproof cover.
