2002 Tioga Electrical Issues

I replaced the core in my Dometic refrigerator. After the reinstall, I plugged it in and had no power going to the unit. My electrical skills are limited, so I had an electrician friend come by to take a look. There is 110 power going to the unit but something is keeping it from turning the unit on; 12v is a bit different. All of the fuses have been checked and rechecked - nothing blown (the 5 amp fuse on the main board was bad, but has now been replaced.). I have also had issues with the continuous duty solenoid - a few years ago I by-passed the unit because it was causing my batteries to drain and would not recharge them while connected to shore power. After the by-pass i did not have the issue; thinking the solenoid was bad, I ordered a new one. After the refrigerator would not work, I decided to install the new solenoid, thinking that might be the problem. Within hours all of the batteries were drained, notwithstanding the fact I was hooked up to shore power. When my electrician by passed everything, and hooked the refrigerator up directly to the batteries, the unit powered up. We both are flummoxed and I really need to fix the problem. Any suggestions?? Thanks!!

Take a picture of the 12 volt fuse side main board, then pull out all the fuses. Then put a multimeter on DC amps, then start installing fuses until the power sucker exposes itself. There's also a fuse on the converter (30 amp) behind the outside entertainment panel.

Thanks for your suggestions. After spending many hours with a more knowledgeable friend, we figured it out. Two problems - my batteries were installed incorrectly (series instead of parallel) and the 12v line going into the refrigerator had shorted out. Although we were unable to figure out exactly where the short is because it never caused the fuse to go and her line from the fuse box was still hot, we simply installed a new power line. The solenoid issue was likely due to the incorrect install of the batteries. All said, I have two new batteries, a new motherboard in the fridge and a new continuous duty solenoid. Most importantly, I now have cold beer!
