2003 Fleetwood Revolution
Hi All,
Would any of you know if a '03 Revolution 38A came standard with:
1. Anti-lock Brakes
2. Anti-theft system
3. Driver Air Bags
I'm looking to get an insurance quote and can't find any of that in the specs.
Thanks

Hi BobbyT49,
I have an 03 Rev 40C and I don't have any of the items you list. I would suspect that the 38A doesn't either.

Thank you Mr. Dave.
I appreciate your response. I didn't think it did, but rather check with those more knowledgeable than me. Again, thanks.

You can tell if it has driver air bags by looking at the steering wheel. As for ABS, run the VIN through the US DOT VIN decoder. It will list a description of your vehicle, including ABS. I would venture to say it most likely does not have an anti-theft system though.

My opinion air brakes so no abs, no air bags, possible anti theft if you have the key fob it came with keyless entry.

I don't mean to hijack this, but looking at the brochures for my 2005 Revolution LE, it has the following bullet points:
- Full Air brakes w/Automatic Slack Adjusters
- Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS)
I am 100% positive I have an ABS light on the dash, and it will light up when your rear bearing goes out causing play in the axle, requiring you to replace the bearing, drum, and shoes...
I don't know if this is a difference in years/models or not.

I looked at the OP 2003 Revolution brochure can’t find anything. Had to believe a ABS light can tell you when you need brakes.

Well, indirectly...lol. Bearing went out, axle slid out back and forth, leaked all over the place, and upon inspection drums and pads needed servicing, the light was from the ABS sensors not reading each other when the axle slid back and forth...intermittently.

Does anyone know if the front slide on a 03 Revolution can be manually operated. I made the newbee mistake of operating the slide while not perfectly level. The slide closed but has about a 2 inch gap on the bottom and will not operate now electricaIly. I was hoping if I could open it manually while leveled in might straighten out.
Also what is reccomended when operating the slides. Engine running..generator running or both or do they operate on house batteries only. Book states..Key on(engine running) but previous owner disagrees. He thought house batteries might just be low. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Bob

Here’s a link to the Power Gear manual ( if it’s a Power Gear as you didn’t mention which you have )
Page three discusses manual override.
