Thanks again for great info. Hypoxia ... how can you move the coach with the air dumped? Aren't the brakes locked up when the air is dumped, then when you start the engine to pump up the tank to release the brakes ... doesn't the coach also rise at the same time? Perhaps the brakes and the air bags are on different air lines and you can hold in the air dump switch to keep the coach from rising so you can move a short distance?

That's it. I moved mine around today & always had enough air for brakes. I have friends with other brands that have to do that to get into their garage. Funny thing about garages, I haven't ever heard someone complain about having a garage too big.

It doesn't matter what brand you buy, you will like it & hopefully it won't have any major problems. More slides are nice when you have company but when we are alone I'm more than happy with it. I think the most we stuffed in was 16 adults. Good thing we were friends.

Another Update: Looked over the coach for a couple of hours today and here's the highlights of what I noticed. Probably not entirely unusual for an almost 12 year old coach. Drove real nice and smooth ... exhaust brake worked fine.

Tires DOT 0509 but put on in April of 2010. So probably can get a couple of more years only on them before they time out. Had 295 vs 275 size tires that the brochure said came on the coach.

Roof ... In bad need of resealing. Front and back cap seal had big cracks. No leaks inside though. If you pay someone to reseal he roof ... what is the cost?

Engine. Radiator hydraulic motor not leaking. There was an oil leak on the driver side of the motor where the oil pan bolts to the block. It is right where the slobber tub (I think that is what it is called) ends. The oil pan was oily on that side ... not sure if those 2 or 3 bolts on the pan just need a little tightening or perhaps it is coming down the slobber tub. On the pavement below that spot it had dripped a couple of times as there was a small stain.

Fuel: Think you guys nailed (I think) ... with the lift pump. There was a small fuel leak on the passenger side of the motor above the starter. Hard to see in that area from below and couldn't see it at all from the back, but kid of think it may be the lift pump. Is that where it is located? Small leak like the oil, only a small spot on the ground. The starter and solenoid were both stained with fuel as this thing-a-ma-jig was above and a little towards the rear of the starter.

Awnings. Original and one slide awning had a couple of holes in it ... all were thing and showed there age ... need to be replaced.

Sides worked fine. A/Cs and heater seemed to work fine. Didn't check the other appliances nor plumbing as has been winterized.

Generator worked fine, but did notice a wet coolant stain on the front of the unit ... no drips on the ground but was able to get a hanging drip on your finger (if that makes sense).

Bell crank original.

That's the highlights ... thanks all for your help as was able to focus on areas you all recommended.

Re your latest post, I am travelling, so will be brief.....

Roof....cracks at caps is pretty common. IMO, the best thing to do is use Eternabond. It is amazing stuff, and you can do it yourself with the right tools and prep. If you do this, you will also want to seal the cap over the shower, the vents and everything else that sticks up thru the roof. Time well spent. Suggest a forum search on the subject.

Lift pump....probably is bad. On start up, they will usually drip for about 30 seconds until pump shuts off. It is located right where you saw it. You could have a leaking high pressure fuel line (usually #5), but consider the lift pump first.

Appliances....if you look at the coach again, suggest you turn on LP, fire up the gen set and ensure that both refer and hot water tank also operate, at least on gas. This can be done even if winterized. Just don't run the hot water tank for more than a minute or so....same with refer if coach is fairly level. You can also see if they operate electrically by switching the refer to AC and ensuring it doesnt shut off (it will beep) and by ensuring the hwtank light switch remains illuminated.

Oil leak...most likely a normal slobber tube drip that has gotten on the pan. I have tightened the oil pan a couple times....and stopped some minor seepage. No big deal and easy to do.

Hope that helps.....

For a twelve year old coach that sounds normal. I certainly would have an oil analysis completed to insure no bearing issues. Yes slobber tube issue which is no issue. Tires two at the most, years longer that is. Slide toppers usual, probably original. Good news this provides a lot of negotiating room for you. Basically, for three to four thousand, ignoring the crazing which I would, you'll have a solid twelve year old coach that should serve you well.
