2003 Valances

Trying to determine how the valances are attached on my 2003 coach. Don’t see any brackets or screws? Thank you

most likely they have screws in the upper portion or screwed into the wall through the valance. You can use a magnet to detect where they are too.

You did not say what type of unit that you have.
My valances are screwed in from the bottom and at the top.

Thank you, it’s an Eagle, found the screws on the bottom of the side pieces, just haven’t found the top screws.

The shades may have to be removed before you can find the screws on the top (screws are inside at top). I bought a long screw driver 24 to 30” at harbor freight for the job. Good luck

In my 1996 Eagle, my valances are attached to a piece of 1”x2” wood strip that is mounted on the wall (like a shelf). The valance is then slide over the wood strip and screwed (2 screws at the ends) in vertically from above. There are also 2 screws (one on each lower corner) that go in at 45 degrees and keep the bottom of the valance from banging against the wall when driving. Will take some photos if you need to see it.

Here you go. The first two are of the top, the third is a photo of the bottom leg. The screw is hidden under the fabric flap and goes into the wall at 45 degrees. Does that help?
