2004 AC Eagle 42r gen slideout not working!
New episode in my recent bought american eagle 42r 2004. Last week an air line got clogged and i lost all suspension.... was a pain in the a** to find were but did. Now the genset slideout wont work. Just put 3 new batteries. I checked the fuses and all seemed fine. Remove the slide switch over the slide pump and no power to it! Is there a switch, a relay, a fuse that i could have miss...
Thanks

Isn't it hydraulic in that year? The hydraulic gen slides have been known to get locked up and need to be bled to allow the hydraulic pump to function again. Same system that handles the step well cover, I think.

Fuses under the step? My '04 didn't have the hydraulic front end slide, so I'm guessing. Had to pull mine out by hand it was heavy!

See if you have a micro-switch that must be engaged to insure that the hood is up before power flows to the pump. The actuator can suffer from metal fatigue and break off. Mine did, tied it off with some twine and voila, slide operates.

On my 05 42R, gen slide power is through a 30A fuse under the middle step. Fuse is labeled "Gen/Air Comp"
I actually hope you've figured it out by now, since I'm late to the party. 😁

Thanks, all the fuses are good. One thing weird is that to the gen switch, the electric compressor and the front slide out module i only have about 1.2volt.... why????

Since it's easy to do, unplug power from the compressor and see if anything changes. It's in the exposed terminal block in the bay.
You say the fuses are good. Have you measured voltage at the fuse? If it's good there, that eliminates a bunch of possible problems. Could be a bad ground or other loose connection.. And you're sure battery voltage is good and all connections are clean and tight?
I hate electrical problems.
