2004 American Eagle small air comp in Gen Bay??

Can anyone tell me what the small air comp is just inside the Generator access panel? It seems to come on as a permisive once the coach 12V has been turned on. It has a 1/4" blue dacron air line running from it. Thanks, Scott

Maybe this is a

This is probably the compressor that moves your genet slide Scott.
On my 2000 40'er it is in a outside compartment under the driver seat where the switch to operate it is too, Is your slide working on power or is it disconnected? you should be able to hear and see it working ?

Regards,
Ed

Oh maybe, I assumed the Gen slide would operate the same as the coach slides....I will investigate. Cheers

I would guess that is to keep the air pressure up when parked for the air leveling. My Dad had a 04 Eagle and you could hear a small compressor kick on up in the front once in a while when camped. I assume it was 12V.

That is what my 07 is. It is the compressor to keep the air level system working.
