2004 Southwind Slide Lubication Points
All,
I am a stickler for preventive maintenance on everything I own.
My question is related to the slides on my 2004 Southwind MH. I have the special slide lubricant and have sprayed anything I can see on both slides but I am not sure if I am getting everything as needed. I do treat all the rubber gaskets with a silicone spray, that is easy.
The only thing I can see on the main living room to spray are the slide rails/gears. Dry lube really does not seem to be sufficient here. Other than that, I can't see anything else to lubricate.
Regarding the bedroom slide, the only thing I can see to spray is the flat metal underside of the room as it is exposed when extended out. It sounds very dry and noisy when extending/retracting inside the bedroom but I cannot get to anything to spray from the inside where the noise is.
What am I missing?
Regards,
